ArcSwap is designed to minimize data collection. For crypto-to-crypto swaps, we collect only the information necessary to process your exchange:

  • Recipient wallet addresses
  • Transaction amounts and currency pairs
  • IP address (for security and abuse prevention)
  • Email address (optional, for transaction notifications only)

2. Fiat Purchases

Fiat-to-crypto purchases via MoonPay are subject to MoonPay's privacy policy. MoonPay collects identity verification data (KYC) as required by law. ArcSwap does not receive or store this information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Process and complete your exchanges
  • Provide transaction status updates
  • Prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations
  • Improve our service

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share transaction data with our liquidity providers solely to process your exchange. We may disclose information if required by law or to comply with legal processes.

5. Data Retention

Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 5 years as required by Canadian AML regulations (FINTRAC). IP addresses and optional email addresses are retained for the same period.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for website functionality. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
